Some of the state’s best wrestlers made it out to Summer States at Wings Arena in Kalamazoo this weekend.  Many of the teams were absolutely stacked!  Attrition Gold has had a stranglehold on the top summer team in Michigan, but Cobra Mafia has been gaining ground and brought a stacked team to Kalamazoo.  Attrition Gold boasted a whopping eight state finalists, with three being state champions. They brought 10 state placers all together.

Last week GR Northview put on a really unique event for Michigan wrestlers. They pulled the mats out on the football field and grappled on the gridiron. There was great wrestling from the little ones all the way through high school. Here are the results from the championship matches.
