Michigan Prep Wrestling's latest Hammer is Ray Lopez, II, a junior from Hamilton.  Ray did not compete in this year's 25/26 season but came out of nowhere to win MYWAY State at 160 pounds for the 2007-2009 High School bracket.  During his sophomore year, Ray had a really good season, finishing 39-8 and ending his season at districts.  At this MYWAY state finals, Lopez defeated two regional qualifiers and a state qualifier on his way to the gold medal.  That is outstanding considering he didn't wrestle this season.  Congrats Ray Lopez, on being named Michigan Prep Wrestling's Latest Hammer!
